Hey all!
First poster here! My husband and I are beginners, located in the New River Valley, VA! Found some shells, casings and an old anchor. Plus some fairly modern coins.
Any idea what the (lead?) Chiseled item may be? No clue!

The New River Valley is a beautiful place. In my 3 1/2 year visit to the area, working at Celanese, one of my greatest regrets is not researching and pursuing the evangelist tent meeting off Rt. 100 to Dublin circa the turn of the century.
