Just how cool is it when you find an old toy a kid played with in the 40s, this is about the age of this old metal tractor, I decided to try and clean it up. It still needs a few new parts, the seat is all bent out of shape, it needs some wheels and tires, over all it cleaned up nice with some new paint. The site it came from was an old village in the 19th century called Truth Ville. This location had been detected many times by an old friend that passed away several years back. It goes to show you don't get it all, the field is littered with can slaw, melted aluminum hunks, it was hard to find a good target in all the load targets. I have been detecting for over 20 years just old farm sites like this one, never give up. The old glass peace was a surface find, the coins were a welcome find as well. Hh

Very Nice!!! Good way to kill time!! Congrats!!!

Beautiful restoration on the tractor, Brian. I am a toy aficionado myself and have many spare tractor tires and axles. Let me know what you need, (diameter of front and rear tires,) and we will get it rolling! Sub 8-)

Thank you, I am not sure of the size of the tires, any guess, the seat is a little bent as well, an idea how to straighten the seat.
