Yes James Avery .925, It dident ring up like a dime as we'd think though, i guess cause it isent round and its small. Kinda like a pop top but slightly higher.

Cool coin ring ,don't see many of those here on T net..Congrats HH for 2010

.
I like the coin ring, TC.
Someone put in quite a few hours working on it !
To me, that would have much more meaning than one mass produced somewhere.
Nice find !

That coin ring is VERY cool, TC! 8) You don't see many of those found. And the cross is terrific too!!

Super keepers!! Nana :icon_thumright:

Cool finds TC. Are you warming up on rings for Kansas this year! Yeah, I remember..... The wedding ring I found must have cost ten cents cause there wasn't any gold left on it!! See ya soon,

Steve ;D

Nice Ring, and cross. Unusual to find one made from a coin. Congradulations. Hope it does't get to cold up there to slow you down again. We got a flood this morning. Everything her it to wet, or standing in water.

Yes we got the rain last night and its 32 degress here now. The coin was ided as 1965 or 66 canadian half. the only yrs they made the small lettering.

Coin rings are really neat. I've seen one dug before, many years ago. :icon_thumright:

When I was a kid, the gang members used to make these rings for their girl friends, They are made with a spoon. Just hit the coin with the convex side, just laying on the table, awhile on the heads side and then on the tails side, again and again. I started one, but i think one of my brothers ripped me off.
