No coins today, just a rant. The new bank I joined a few months ago, that I was straight up with about the amount of coins I was going to dump, has now announced that they will start charging a fee even for members. The lady straight up said it was because of me. The fee is only 2% which isn't bad compared to other places but the fact is I do not average enough silver per box to break even with the fees. I have until 7/6 to use the newest bank fee free. Since I'm upset I think I'm going to dump a full $1,000 bag a day on them starting asap. Might as well get my fun in before I'm cut off.
Going to Big Bear on a family vacation right after the 4th and have always wanted to look for gold up in der hills. Maybe I will have a switch of hobbies for a while
Beebs,
Sorry to hear about your bank instituting a beebs fee. I am not returning the large amounts you are, but I am always worried that one of my banks will get tired of my coins and start charging me.
A beebs fee. I like that! I can't even give advice on a good amount to keep it under. The other bank didn't say anything until I did mass amounts of 1,000 a day for a full month. This one I cut back hoping they would be cool with it and did 1,000 a week. Starting next week they are going to see what I could have been doing to them. HAHAHAHA (that was my evil laugh)

The 78 is pretty nice looking. And it's my birth year so it's a keeper. Trying to find a clean one for every family member.

Stopped at a random bank asing for change and lady says a couple just cleaned out their whole house and had about $600. I said I'll take it. Took the quarters, dimes, and nickels. Going back Friday for the cents that she's saving for me.
$250 Quarters - skunk
Canadian 2007 Vancouver 2010 Olympic quarter
Have $80 in nickels to search still. Crap, just did the math and I'm going to have about $70 in pennies. That should be fun. I had a hopper at one point but sold it. I'll post a pic of what I use now that I do such small amounts.
Started last night by checking all the rolled nickels with old looking wrappers. There was literally nothing good. After work today I was able to get through the rest and it started off with nothing and I just kept thinking there has to be something good with the nice finds from the dimes and in the last 6 rolls that looked like they were brand new I had all these. I love buffalos! Can't wait for the pennies tomorrow now.

So here's my two ways that I search the copper out of the penny searches.
The magnet ramp
The idea is the magnets slow down the copper ones enough to land in the closer half of box. It works okay.
The other method is with my tracker iv.
Set disc all the way up and on tone and the low beeps are zinc and the high tones are copper. Make sure you don't have your wedding band on.

$1000 - loomis skunk
I did get this one coin I thought was funny. Looks like a coin roll searcher was upset with his connection or drop off location.
Found a 1947 dime in return trey. Still trying to get rid of more change to get the rest of the boxes that are waiting for me. I will get through them eventually. Trying to stick it to the bank before they started charging fees backfired. Hopefully they will have the machine working one day next week so I can get through a few boxes.
Damn time flys by. Happened to ask teller for some halves. Got $15 worth.

I think it’s time to do some searching again. See if I can find some drop off locations. Hopefully the banks all forgot about me.
