Beautiful gold nugget

I found this beauty in cabarrus county NC about 4 miles from where gold was first discovered

in the US. The biggest I have found in NC in 40 years 1 1/2 oz they didn't find it all. The

first photo is the way it was found the others are after I removed some of the rock.

I am just curious, and I am not trying to ask you to give up your location of where you found this, but what was the circumstances that you found it? Was it from hard rock prospecting? A metal detector find? Was it is the woods? In a river or creek? How did you ever find such a sweet nugget?
