Got out in the freezing cold on Sunday to an area thats new to be but has been hunted some by one other person in the past, they left quite a few things for me and I still have a lot of ground there to cover. The Eagle A is great and I love that patina on it, broken piece at bottom right of group photo looks like maybe some type of rosette, wish it was intact, only coin so far is a thick IH date is badly worn but think its 1864, ready to go back as soon as this rain gets outta here!!

As pretty an Eagle A as you could hope to find . . . nice stuff!

Outstanding!

Sooo cooool. I want to go somewhere to find a colonial item. I am so jealous. Just one button would be cool. Happy hunting.

Nice finds!

Looks like you had a good day!

Now that is a great plateful of relics. Great hunt. :hello2:
Congrats,
MM

A job well done, to me the eagle button look's better like that than if it were brand new [ if it's old , it should look old] also a great assortent of other relics I don't find too many Gardner's in my area only 3or4 and they were fired. Nice hunt. Davers

yea im gonna leave that button as is, love that patina

Beautiful Eagle A! The site definitely has some good targets left!

well done! a great collection of finds...surely there's more!

heck yea, research indicates there were multiple housesites at this location, one is still standing and Confederate and Union troops camped here.

Dont you love it when research pays off ! Nice artillery button and definitely a good haul !

Nice pile of relics Jeff. The soil was definitely kind to your eagle A button.
