Found one intact (white quartz Morrow Mountain), some brokes and a lot of pottery. Gorgeous day on the river! Finally got my little boat in for the season. I go 8-10 miles up or down river to some spots. It's only an 8hp but gets me around.
Yes, behind me is a 40 or 50 ft cliff that is eroding and dropping tons of fossils. The sand is charcoal/black - all the white you see in the picture is shells (fossil). I find shark teeth, ray teeth, vertabrae, petrified wood, etc. Also some points and a lot of pottery. This particular site is known locally as "shark tooth beach".
