Well I went back to the street tearout for quick hunt , earlier today that they moved dirt around so I went before it got dark, first was a skeleton key , then a unknown button then I got a 26/27 signal and out pops a can ,dang then other can. Again I get a 27/28 signal and I though here comes another freaking can , but no I see a black disc and I'm thinking dang washer as I wipe it down I see letters and I said omg I just found my first barber quarter , yes bucket lister. She in bad shape but still my barber quarter 1902 yes!!!!! 20180723_190833.jpg20180723_193633.jpg20180723_193639.jpg20180723_193807.jpg20180723_193819.jpg20180723_210227.jpg20180723_210239.jpg

She's not ugly, she's just got character!

Congrats on your first Barber Quarter. Still looking for mine!

Question: do you just kinda duck under the sawhorses on these street tearouts or what?

Damn. Shakakka stole my line. I’d love to find one of those in any shape! Sweet find!!!!

Ahhh I just walk in no sawhorses just orange barrels

Jim what a great find (in any shape) the Barber Quarter. I have the dime and the Half but I just can’t find that darn Quarter!!! Congratulations and I’d hunt that sucker at night as well twice a day. You might have to take of work but it once in a lifetime situation I’m sure your boss would understand :)))

Yup im keeping a close eye on it

Congratulations on the first! Such a beautiful coin. I hope there are a lot more for you in the future.

That's a sweet find, regardless of condition. I have found over (300) silver coins, but alas, only one Barber quarter. That one looks pretty good to me sir.

Good luck and congrats.

Super awesome finds.Congrats. That how our streets look all the time.

It may not be in the best shape, but at least you can clearly identify it and its all yours. Congrats on your first Barber Quarter. I hope many more follow, now get back out to that sight !

Hey Jimmy, way to go, we both knew silver was hiding in there. I'm thinking a seated will come out as well. Congrats on gettting that monkey off your back.

Congratualtions on the Barber Quarter! :occasion14: Like the others said...it adds character! :icon_thumleft:
