Thinking about upgrading my old Bounty Hunter I to a Fisher F2. All I do is beach hunting. On the metal detecting forum they told me the Fisher F2 wasn't good for the beach. I can't afford to spend a lot of money. Should I just stick with my old Bounty Hunter I, or will the Fisher F2 be enough of an improvement to justify buying one?

When you say beach I'm assuming a salt water beach correct? If so running a single frequency machine will drive you crazy! Most beach hunting is done with some kind of multi frequency machine in order to cut through the salt and black sand. I did notice however that your from Florida and have heard that black sand is at a minimum down there. Some guys say they run a single frequency machine with no problem. If that's the case down in Florida then you should do fine with the fisher as I'm also assuming you're not having any issues running the bounty hunter. Unless you're only hunting dry sand, then any machine would work. GL HH.

it's the same company same sound same problems you need a p.i and you will have to look else ware for that
