Beach Find - Etched Pendant

Ok, found this in the wet sand in Ocean City, MD. I think that this is amber and I think the etchings are arabic. Does anyone have any iddea what this was used for? What it says? It is curious that there is a grid with different words in each square, almost like a calendar.

I am very curious about this so if anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear them.

If your pendant is inscribed like the ones pictured below, it is from Iran and is inscribed with positive phrases from the Koran. There are often references to 5, representing both the Islamic leaders, and the five fingers held up for protection
