All Treasure Hunting
All items found between high and low tide, we are still dealing with the beach renurishment sand, so there are pockets of nicely packed and large stretches of sink to past your ankle sand.

Approx 4.78$ in modern clad
Dozen or so bottle caps
Couple dozen bobby pins
Few clumps of melted aluminum
Two large washers and one small one
4 fish hooks
4 small to large sinkers
One .05$ euro guess it would be nickel equivalent
1 large crab

10k ring with red stone ( garnet not deep enough red for ruby) least I assume
1 good luck to the bearer token

I read these posts everyday and you all get my blood pumping to hunt. Hope your day finds you in good spirits and health.

Wonderful! A beautiful ring, some money, and DINNER!

What a great day!

Agreed G.I.B, it was a amazing day to not only detect, even more so to be a part of the gran scheme of how fortunate we as humans are. Had a 30 min break about an hour into the hunt with a fast moving thunder bolt and lightning storm. But made for a good avatar picture.

1 casper2Z.JPG BY THE PIC - LOOKS LIKE A GARNET - BUT STILL WOULD HAVE IT CHECKED
BURMEISE RUBIES - WHICH ARE THE RARE ONES ARE DEEP RED - TODAYS GARNETS ARE ACTUALLY DEEPER THAN TODAYS RUBIES
TODAYS RUBIES ARE USUALLY PINKISH RED OR LIGHTER RED

Appreciate the knowledge Casper-2
