Be Careful Dectecting After Tonight.

 yea I guess 3 years can do allot to standing gas & Batteries

Gas may eventually be a problem. I would think there would be enough cars sitting around
to help yourself to. at least in the larger cities & in Garages.
Quality of sitting gas may be a problem after awhile with the crap they put in it.

Standard Transmissions & older cars (60's & early '70's ) can all be started without a battery.
Then as long as the chargers work they should be good to go.
if they can save the fuel systems
Problem with large cities was the tens of thousands of walking dead as was shown in Atlanta.... If anything happened in real life close to this as in epidemic and anarchy I would head for the boonies so as to have smaller groups to deal with.

Remember its been about 3 years since event first happen, a lot of the cars laying around are out of gas or low on gas plus the survivors scavenging for gas has depleted more, Now remaining gas and vehicles has been sitting for 3 years, dead batteries and bad gas will become a problem...

Not to be a stickler for details, TH, but according to this: Television Show Timeline - Walking Dead Wiki we are looking at 531 days to date the survivors have endured. So that's about a year and a half. This would also fit with Judith's development. They are still carrying her, so she's what - a year old? 15 months?

Cars and vehicles: My thoughts are that there would be so many vehicles about that scavenging gas or diesel or fuel oil, or mineral spirits, or tranny fluid or kerosene, or vegetable oil wouldn't be a problem. They're still eating stale candy bars and chips! Stands to reason there'd be plenty of vehicles about. This is one of the paradoxes within the storyline that I just cant get past. They've been out there a year and a half, and they still have nothing but what they can carry? Dont seem right to me. Army Reserve Units, municipal police stations, military bases - they've driven past about 20 or more of them on their way to Noah's home. Like I said before, the whole show is just a cavalcade of bad decisions, mostly by Rick.

That said, did anyone watch Talking Dead? Chad Coleman (Tyreese) was on. Nice guy. Greg Nicotero said that the survivors are in for even more trouble - times are going to get worse. My guess is that they'll be almost dead or almost eaten when someone steps in to help - maybe Morgan? Maybe he is still following them. Maybe someone new will step in to save them providing some new blood to the show. I dunno.

Oh yeah, I did read that all of the deaths and most of the scenes in the show mirror the comics, so the writers of the comics still maintain integrity.

Can't go by Judith, look at Carl, he has aged far more than 1.5 years but I also just read your link, I'm willing to go by it.....

On the food, they have gone into some of those military bases and most were already looted, candy bars ect last for years even after expiration date....

I predict they are either going to advance the timeline soon or kill off Carl. His real age and appearance is throwing off the timeline really bad. Series started in October 2010, Carl ( Chandler Riggs) has aged 5 years in real life and in appearance, the actor will be 16 in June 2015, he was 11 in first episode...

I forgot about her :(

Jeff you forget a lot anymore, did you remember to brush your teeth this morning?

yea I think the only ones who are pretty much Guaranteed a place in the Final episode are Rick & the Kid .

only exception may be if they do a wage strike & the writers aren't ready to fold or give in.

only other two that may survive the cuts Daryl & the Samurai Chick (I don't know her name) but the writers need someone who's handy at Chopping :laughing7:
I get that they're trying to convey a gloom and doom scenario but if you keep killing popular characters you will lose your audience. Dayrl is too popular to kill so he is in until the end but if Glenn or Maggie die I am out.

Edit: The katara wielding Samurai Chick is named Michonne. If she has a last name I don't remember it.
