I understand why they ordered them to stay out of the water, but the fact that the cops actually brought charges against them...that takes a bunch of real a$$holes.

however in my opinion Saving 2

is better then Recovering the body of 1
because it's illegal to save a life
without training

I wonder if the cop thought about the possibility that the river might rise before his help arrived. how would he have felt if the child would have been swept away? In my military training you use every available tool or personnel available to accomplish your mission. this cop wasn't thinking straight.
