Looks like a ball used in water hose pump. Pump pumps up water around ball and ball falls back down on o-ring to prevent water going back down

A dime is 17.91 mm and judging by the picture almost three of them can fit on it, if it were an airsoft bb we would expect it to be 6mm... it's the correct size so I'm leaning toward airsoft bb.
