My battery replacement in on the way I can not thank Dilek enough as in between traveling for business she got this sorted out,as it turns out Andy at we dig detectors was left hanging for a week with no reply as to what should be done or a go ahead to rectify this situation.
By the time Andy was about to send the replacement my friend had decided to contact the seller to return it I had in turn contacted Andy let him know that this was our intent and not to send the battery.
Andy hated to think I was going to return this so I quickly contacted the seller to stop him from either sending for a pick or doing a slip for shipping it back I don't how how he read my email and replied to it as it was full of type-o but he did.
Either way the battery problem brand new out of the box did not bother me as much as being left in total radio silence to think the worst of the worst.
Had someone just mentioned we are working on your problem that would have been better than noting at all for just 2 days over 2 weeks.
The problem is solved and my advice is if you fill out the on site form at Nokta's web site and do not get an answer after 3 days contact Andy let him know you have filled out that form provide the information to him serial numbers and everything.
Let him know you'd like to be kept up to date on what is going on.
So I will be keeping my Legend hat and detector I just do not want this to happen to another customer.
Thanks for reading my rant.

When I found a problem with the pro pack that I had received I made it clear I was not hear to hurt Nokta Makro or their reputation when I had asked if anyone else had experienced this issue with the external battery, and latter found out that a year before there had been a thread on the same issue I have.
Since then I have been in contact with the seller who in turn sent the contact information for Any at wedigdetectors I sent him my contact information told him what the issue was.
I sent this email to him on Tuesday its is now Thursday afternoon and no reply.
So I'm going to cut my grass and when I'm done if there is no reply I guess I can assume there will be no reply.
Since May 9th I have attempted everything possible to get this situation rectified I have found that Nokta has a bogus link to a non existent entity call Nokta detectors U.S.A. this link is being use to try to convince customers that a no existent service center is going to contact you in 24-48 hours.
After sending my email to Andy I started collect other contacts as I've start to realize that nothing about this company is good.
At this point if there is no reply from Andy once I'm done mowing my lawn I'm going to have to make a choice which was the last thing I wanted to do I've already drafted an email to the attorney generals office in my state and I guess I'll have to launch a formal complaint against Nokta.
Then try to make contact with the federal trade commission file a fraud alert with the feds then contact the BBB.
What else can I do this in not exceptable.
I had an issue with a new Nokta Simplex recently. They did contact me quickly as stated. They took care of my problem and my machine is working properly. I do not doubt your issues, but I must tell the other side for a fair picture to be seen. I am very big on customer service; I feel they met the problem head-on and resolved it. Good luck!🍀 It is sad when the A.G. and/or BBB need to be involved. Truthfully, I would do the same IF I felt I had no other recourse.
I bought mine through Bart. Possibly he helped behind the scenes; I do not know.

I'm out here in western Canada. I received a Legend WHP pack. It turned out to have a faulty battery, and would not take a charge. I contacted the retailer and I was emailed a Purolator shipping label , to return it. All in all I had a new Legend WHP pack in a week. which I consider pretty darn quick. In between work I have found five silvers with it. Most over one hundred years old. I love this detector and I'm trying to get some real water time with it.

Nokta has been fixing all the faulty speakers since last year, so I'm sure they're not ignoring you on purpose.

I always try and stick with the same dealers. If I ever had a problem, they were always there to take care of the issue.
That sounds like a mess.
I'm just lucky I got a good Pro Pack that didn't have any issues.
Love the detector.
I've emailed Nokta and pretty much got a quick response. That was when they were taking suggestions on improvements before the latest update.
Sorry for the situation you're in. The Legend is a great detector. Love using it when not using the Deus II.
Hope you get everything resolved.
