European voltage is twice what American voltage is.There are two basic standards for voltage and frequency in the world. Well this has moved on a bit since I was last here, glad to see it's still good humoured and tongue in cheek . I would have logged on sooner, but having a small business to run and thinking of expanding it, my time is taken up else where, and looking after my family . And, since you brought it up Dano, the riots are a bit worrying. This is the third night so far and now it's happening up north too. If you ask me, I think they are looting batteries, now they know we have them over here

I try and help and offer advice where i feel i can, people never bother noticing those posts though. What is it that's upsetting you about me? Or are you just going to take the easy option of not explaining yourself like so many other hit and run merchants?

I'm not trying to bait you in, i'm just trying to establish what i've said to upset you is all? I know some Americans have a hard time understanding anything a non-American says or does and i'd like to clear it up. If i threw a rock at your car as you drove past, then..putting anger aside...you'd want to know why i threw the rock...right? Same here.
If you poke me with a stick then i'll respond in kind. If you ask me a straight question, then as long as i know what you're "beef" is, i'll do my best to answer it with or without rancour..depending on the question and my mood at the time!

Dano, I just never see you post anything positive. I have a great sense of humor and love a good argument. I post a lot of things just like you, but I also make a lot of positive replies. I only see you put people down, that's all. Its your right to post what you want, but people are getting tired of you putting everyone down. I don't expect everyting to be roses and a pat on the back, but your crossing the line when you continue to put everyone down.

@ Lookin' - All i can say is that you're not looking everywhere i post. I've always tried to help and offer opinions on the "what is it" forum, i Answer questions on what MD to buy first (in my opinion) and basic "general" questions from newbies when and if i can In the "Minelab" forum, or anywhere else i see them actually, and i comment a lot quite normally on many threads in here "general discussion", "everything else" "politics" and the "beach" forums.
I'll be the first to admit i'm a self confessed "stick poker" as you've no doubt noticed before, but....as i've explained in numerous posts before...it's all usually meant tongue in cheek and/or as "International rivalry". In other words..no harm meant!

You Americans tend to have a hard time understanding this without a detailed explanation, which usually doesn't work either, but that ain't my fault.
I've made more friends than (known) enemies on Tnet, so i KNOW it's not impossible to work out what makes me tick, but truth is i'm too tired of going through this stuff every couple of weeks, so basically people can just think of me as they will and i'll live with it and sleep peacefully at nights still. I don't force anyone to comment on my posts, neither is it in the site rules that anyone has to, and they provide us all with a "ignore user" button. If anyone chooses to respond to me then i'll do my best to respond back in return.
All i'll say is that i've not been banned, so whereas i may cause the mod's a lot of grief, i'm not doing anything bad or in an evil way! I'm just using my right to "free speech", which happens not to be just an American thing.
