Baseball hat bottle cap?

Hey everyone,
I was at a local park yesterday that was established in 1922. Most of the equipment is modern. When I was detecting on a hill I dug this up. It’s a bottle cap that looks like a baseball hat. I’ve never seen this before. If anyone has information on it I’d really appreciate it!

never seen one either, RARE bottle cap:laughing9:. Bet it wasn't around long, couldn't have been good for S&H!

I've seen a zillion bottle caps and never saw one of those. Cool.

those were around for a short time before screw top bottles. They were designed for crown top bottles so you could flip them open.
