BARBER'S V NICKEL'S AND A LOT OF SILVER!!!!! Did I say a lot of SILVER ?
The day started early at about 9:00 am at a soon to be DEMO HOUSE.
I got 4 wheats there, $1.83 in clad and a religious medal. As I was leaving since it wasn't being to productive I
got a call from Tom. He said, he was going to be by the Courtland House and we could swing by at 2:00 pm.

I decided to go do some CLAD HUNTING at a very small ( half a football field ) park in downtown Park Ridge.
I have done this park several times before for clad because they hold a lot of festivals there.
After about an hour and a ton of change I got a nickel signal at about 1 inch so I popped it out. It turned out
to be MY OLDEST NICKEL FOUND METAL DETECTING . It was a 1900 V Nickel WOW!!!! was I shocked.. 2 feet away
I popped out a 1944P War Nickel at about an inch down... What a Shocker that was too......
Then about 3 feet away I popped out a cheap RING...Another Smile!!!!
I wound up getting $ 5.04 in clad too.
Next I went over to meet Tom at the 1890's House.
What can I say .......
It was a fantastic day !!!!!
Detected with Tom ( DOG TAG TOM ) for about 2 hours
I got my OLDEST BARBER DIME a 1895 ( 690,000 minted ) at least in good cond. No Liberty though.
The old coins were popping out.....
I got a KEY CHAIN I D thing at 6.5 inches. I cleaned it up and opened it and found the owners name in it
that was a cool thing to see..
In all I got 9 silvers 9 Wheats 1 V Nickel .35 cents , a busted up Pewter spoon, a lead soldier a token
but most of all, It Was FUN.....

With 10 silver today it brings my total to 23 silvers.........YAHOOO
