Barber Quarter !

Hey All,

Got out for a bit today, back to the old farm. Found a new spot near the field where they just cut the high grass down today and it paid off.

The barber quarter was about 6" down and read a solid 00 29 signal with the SE.

Awesome find

I was watching this coin collectors show(the same channel that sells all the knives) the other night and they were selling (1) barber quarter/carson city issue and it was graded MS65 selling for $5,400 just thought I'd share this with you all...It was something to see as were all the other coins they sold.

Even just viewing the coin online I can clearly see several of the letters of "Liberty" across the headband. That's a nice specimen you found. Be sure to hit that spot again, perhaps after some rain showers, to see if you can squeak out a few more of those puppies.
