Decided to go out to the park tonight a dig a little. As I?m on my way pit the door my 8 year old son asked if he could come with. He?s never asked to come with me before and at first I told him I thought he was going to be really bored and that I was only going to be digging trash. He didn?t seem dissuaded so I let him come along. At the park we dug a few pull tabs and rotten zinc pennies before he was bored but he stuck close by and climbed on the rocks and ran around while I detected. I got a good quarter signal and called him over just expecting a clad quarter. We dug it out and to my surprise it was a 1905 Barber Quarter! I think I was more impressed with it than my son was. After a quick look he was off climbing the rocks again. :tongue3:

After six years of Metal Detecting the barber quarter what is my nemesis I found a barber half and I found a barber dime and it took me three more years to finally get the quarter all of them mint marked O because I live near New Orleans. I finally finished the set. Congratulations to you for finding a Quarter that was on my mind for a long time.
