Bad day

I have had those days also.

It's for this very reason I refuse to detect city parks! :BangHead:

Dave

Yeah, that stinks! Even if it's hot I hunt with at least one, sometimes 2 gloves, for that very reason- I hunt a lot of city parks and you just never know. Be safe..

What drug is now so popular ?

Empty plastic water bottles make great "throw away receptacles" for those needles. Sad symptom of the current state of the world.

I was pulling weeds today at work a found a little container & heard something inside when I moved it. I thought cool maybe treasure, it was a crack pipe

I was in a forest preserve detecting about 15 years ago, and found a bag of about 20 of them, complete with syringes. Into the garbage can they went !

Fortunately, only a couple parks in our area have discarded needles and syringes......they've been eliminated from my list of hunting spots.
What never ceases to amaze me is the amount of live rounds of ammo found in public areas........and the calibers!! I generally find 20 to 25 per year and turn them in to the local PD. They have the facilities to dispose of them properly.

Thats sad for sure. I hope things get better on your hunts those are not fun to find .......Tommy

Just be happy you don't detect San Francisco. But of course not only do you have needles but the occasional, and more prevalent, steaming pile of excrement. So ya got that goin' for ya.

Sorry to hear that. Fortunately I've never found one. I have lost too many friends to count on one hand to Heroine. Something needs to be done the youth of this nation is disappearing way to fast.
