Back Yard Find

I found this while doing construction in my back yard and I am completely stumped. Any ideas what this is? The size is 3" x 4" tall and sheet metal/tin?

I appreciate you guys getting back to me so quickly. It is a very odd find, the slots have me stumped, because it is obviously made to attach to something perhaps a belt or some sort of strap? Interesting....

It helps if you place an item of known shape and size in the picture. Like a dollar bill, a coin or similar. Nice find, can I come play in your yard?

Cool find! Looks like two winged cherubs with one lifting a vase or similar container! Hope someone knowledgable will have detailed info on this! Andi
