Got back to the old zoo where I found my walker and a nice token on Sunday, today didn't disappoint either. First good hit was the token from Sweetwater Tx, the other token from Sunday was from Cal. I haven't had a chance to research the one I found today. The slick looking thing is a quarter that looks like it had been put on the railroad track which run beside the zoo. I was running the 6" coil on the CTX, the ground is polluted with iron tones on every swing when I got a nice high, out pops a rosie from 6" surrounded by iron, I love that small coil. The V-nickle was an eyeball find, sitting right on top of the ground, that makes 1-V and 2 silvers I've found here on top of the ground. They must have moved the dirt around in this location because the rosie wasn't that far from where I found the nickle. not sure what the other 2 things are, the ball rang up as 12-44, but, is way too light for silver, the blob rang up at 12-39, and could be silver, just not certain. I had to hunt faster than I wanted because of time constraints, but, I'll be back!!
