Back to the coastal farm Hay fields !

A little more area at the 1790's coastal farm site I have been hunting on opened up this week . Though still not totally frost free . Hitting some more of the hay fields while the grass is still laid flat from the snow , Made a few finds in the two and a half hours I spent swinging . The patina holding up on date area of the 1802 Draped I found today surprised me This was found fairly close to the salt water line . A toasted Indian Head , a no date wheatie , a 1941, wheatie and a 1934 Washington quarter were the coin finds , 3 smallish flat buttons , A vintage Shell Oil uniform button, and a few relics rounded out the hunt . We are sooo close buddy. BB and I got out for a bit today and I found a very interesting Dandy button with 13 stars. Trying to figure out if it has some Rev War era political symbolism. Hope someone has some idea I'm dying to know. Good hunt bud glad to see you got out. All the best, Abe
