Stop back to the site were I found the sash buckle. ..Did not find the sword. .But I did pull out a few old things. Not sure about a few. The first thing I believe to be either a bag seal or a whiskey seal...Its made out of lead. .The find of the day for me is the 1780 1/2 reel..I think...Can u believe I found half in one hole amd the othe piece next to it in a nother...Looks like it was hit by a plow or something. .Anyway you can see the pics of the other stuff. If any can identify anything. .Please let me know....
I have not even scratched the surface of this site...Im taking it slow and low...
And by the way that silver was 9inch down...Just a little bleap ony ctx..It said 12inch....I knew it wasn't iron because didn't hear iron. ..If I had I would have never dug in the pic u can see how far down it was...Thanks for looking
And happy hunting.
George

Vino
Great silver. The middle picture in the second row looks very similar to something I found. Someone told me it was an old style shotgun slug. I'd like to see that. Congrats on another great hunt.

George, now I see what your saying, it looks like it got hit by the lawnmower, all the others I seen posted were a clean cut. You are the luckiest guy I ever met. I'm glad you called me, you should of sent me the pix, you probably thought I'd get sick of it. Only hurts a little now, I'm getting used to it. Now it's only a second, then I'm overwhelmed with joy that you just found another thing on my bucket list. Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Congrats buddy, you deserve it, nothing good comes easy, you might make it seem that way but I know better how much work you put into it. The way you have compiled your presentation with references and contributions, your a very smart man. "You lead a clean life, you live a good life" It has done well for you.

no S dave. But thanks for bringing that to my attention.

Congrats on some more great finds George! You are coin and relic magnet and I swear that if coins were magnetic, they would stick to your' butt even if you just walked a site without a metal detector!:icon_scratch::laughing7: I am sure hoping that the 1909 Indian Head Cent has an "S" Mint Mark!
