I went back to the beach today and came across a few new finds. Some change, a few sinkers, 3 bullets (the little round thing on the bottom right appears to be a spent .22, and shrapnel from a larger cal. bullet (looks like the same cal. as the larger bullet under it).
Other than that, spent about 2 hours telling people what I was doing.

Thanks. I'm using a White's MXT with the standard Eclipse 950 E-Series coil at this time. I ordered 2 new coils today, the Deepscan DD 1400 and the Shooter DD 4x6. I'm excited to get them and go back over some of my hunting spots.

Nice .50 cal there.

Thats one thing I miss about Myrtle.....well....its closed now....but the Air Force Base being there was cool. When I first moved there......the F4 Phantoms were still there. Every time I heard a plane I 'bout broke my neck trying to get out the door to catch a glimpse of them. Then the A-10s came, and well, that was the end of that ;D

Oh yeah......X...did you get to search any of the roadbed when they took up the asphalt? I remember they were doing some work there in front of the Pavillion about 3 months ago.....but hadnt tore the road up yet.

They tore the roads out, still kinda working on them. They were funny about letting me hunt so I just let it go. I thought about trying it at night, but decited not to because if something went wrong and I got caught it would make it harder down the road to get permission at other locations.
The F-14's still fly over. My house is in the patern and every once in a while I'll hear one coming and run outside to see what it is. I love the planes.
