Back to that small Park...

Went back to the Park again today hoping to find some goodies and in a four hour hunt netted:
3 Quarters
6 Dimes
2 Mercs(both 1941)
1 Nickel
8 memorial cents
9 Wheats(1917-1956)
1 Indian Cent(1909)
1 1928 Canadian Cent

I also found a small silver pin with intitals CMTC!!

Jack glad to see you are on a hot streak with some older coins!

Gregg, hitting the older areas with a friend. He wants to use his DFX with 12 inch coil and we've hit this Park for the old stuff. Some surface clad here and there, but if you stay long enough you can find a few wheats and a silver here and there. Mainly as he tweaks that DFX to understand it better with the 3-6 inch targets it also helps me get a few oldies!! Give Tim a couple more months and he'll have that DFX singing!!

I hit the gorge last week and only got a 1953 dog license. At one of two farm sites Sunday I got a 1919s wheat cent and some clad. I think somebody beat me to those farms. Did research yesterday. Nothing to post lately.

Hey Steve, He's having trouble with the 12 inch coil, he thinks its bad. When I let him pass his coil over some deep hits he gets a broken unreadable signal and I end up digging a deep wheat or the one Merc he wouldn't have dug it. Using the Stock coil he has found three silver coins!! We sure need some heavy rainfall here!
