Spent the day on one of my fields with Crusader!

I wish I had his land

There's still several fields i havn't tried on this farm and he told me that he will start ploughing on Tuesday

I think the field i have been concentrating on is off the list for a while though

I dont think there is anyone here that does not wish he could hunt crusaders land parcels. but at least he lets you join him. as far as luck goes, crusader is very talented and hard working. his finds prove that. I am very happy that he chooses to share his finds online and helps answer questions with his knowledge of history,detecting and artifacts. I have learned a great deal from him since I joined up.

I'll take lucky any day of the week, but I'm pretty sure crusader has a few tricks up his sleeve worth learning. I too believe in gps for mapping out hot spots, it lets you fine comb an area without wasting valuable time. I'd love to hit one of his fields with my fishers pulse 8x or my brothers infinium to find those really deep targets.

we have 5'-9' waves on the lake for the next few days so it is a rest period/repair week for me. I think I'll take another nap.

I'd say coming back from a gold coin and a hammered down, with a Groat of all coins is pretty lucky

How many of them have you found before?? You had to get your second one on that day.....didn't you

The hammered from under my nose was just a fitness issue, I was knackered and couldn't keep up

Funny thing is I have found an unexploded bomb from ww1 on my local land! I also carried it back to show the landowner, she was very pleased
The police were there straight away though, followed by the Bomb Squad!
