Vino called in the morning and I met him at the old church where we detected for a few hours. First off, I got my Indian Head Penny that I have been looking for, Woo Woo! Check out the pic it looks like she is smiling!
Second thing was I found a very nice looking button. The last button has a flag flanked by "Ruthen Cardiff", the back is marked "Masters & Co., Cardiff", it measures 5/8" in diameter x 1/8" thick and weighs 4 grams. I don't know what it is about trying to research these buttons, but for me I just can't seem to get enough answers from Google
Any more info on this button would be very much appreciated? Thanks in advance.
Today was also token day. First token is a South Street Arcade/642 South Street with a big A on it, Back side says "no cash value"
Second Token is a "one fare school token" Back has a "septa" in center, with "one fare school token"
Then very close together two tokens, one has a zodiac, "Aquarius"Jan 20-Feb 18, other side says, "your lucky number 365, your lucky wine, KINGS"
The other is zodiac, Virgo, Aug 23-Sept 22, "your lucky number 613, your lucky wine, KINGS"
In the same hole as the 1897 Indian was what looks like two large tokens/coins IDK stuck together, I have them in olive oil soaking. We will have to wait and see.
I got three Wheat pennies, 1920, 1954 D, and a 1952
I have to get a better camera!!!
Thanks again Vino, thanks everyone for looking and comments/help in IDing, HH
