Thought I would do a little digging so went to the feedlot. Picked a place to dig and started in. As soon as first shake was done this little knife popped right up. Been heavily used and not resharpened yet. Thought that was cool,finished screen and small Elko was there. I thought I,d gotten into a good spot but dug out a 4x4 area and didn,t find but 2 more fragments and a few chips. Love the smell of camp dirt. This was in the middle of June.

Those 2 pieces were in the top 8-10 in. The deepest there has been 3 to maybe 4 ft..usually less than 3ft. average. Goes down to a harder tan layer at the bottom. It has been disturbed in places on top from leveling and cows.
 

Still at it I see :)

Nice finds- that knife is truly awesome.
 

Cleaned up pics for Newnan man with a new flake knife too

Here are cleaned up pics of knife and point.

Also pics of a flake knife found there too but in the past.Tried to get a pic to show the thinness but it is so so. As thin as flake is it is opaque.
