Found a couple more plane parts & several Armour Piercing 50cal's.

Got a new type of 17th C buckle - shame its bust...
Plus a Georgian Sword Fittment.

After 3 hours we spent an hour in the next field on a Roman Site we done last year.
Had 4 Roman Coins - 1 nice one :icon_thumright:
Plus a Roman whatzit & a nice early thimble.

So a good result in foot height Wheat Crop :)

Re: B17 Field & next door...

Good work! Everything is in good condition. Not much left from the bomber... Most times when we hit a field here with a crashsite on You can stop detecting because all is littered with aluminium parts.
I thank You for trying to locate relatives from crew members. That is truely a good deed!

Re: B17 Field & next door...

the black tipped bullets are armor piercing, they did a show on the history channel shooting targets with those through steel plate and concrete. destructive as hell. neat finds
