Central American souvenir or folk art, probably from Guatemala or Belize....circa 1950's or 60's.
Such castings were made from molten glass, silica sand and crushed malachite to give them a somewhat authentic mosaic look.
How big, and does it have a hole at the bottom ?
The larger ones were usually sold with a wood display stand with a post for a hole in the bottom.

Probably some collector value.
I've seen them listed on E-Bay for $200 US and up for the larger ones in perfect condition.
Your's may be a reproduction of a local clan fetish, representing a place and time where maize was planted or harvested.
Those are not as common.
