Those are some nice colonial era iron relics. Should be some more nice finds in that area.
 

those are old. I found an old ax head probably 100 y.o. it didnt have the colonial look. Still got me exicted to clean it

This area goes back to the early 1800's. I've found another hatched head like the one displayed, but it was broken. Hope to find more nice finds there.

believe it, or not, but there was an old lady that lived at this site. I was told that the site where the axe heads were found would have been where the wood pile would have been. I did find some bones where the meat cleaver was though. Might have been lizzies.
