I got out for a couple of hours, so I decided to hunt an 1850s house foundation.? I pulled out a lot of nails and other pieces of brass and this AWSOME K.M.I Cadet button!? I was in shock as I pulled it out of the ground, because it was my second Civil War Button this week.? I guess another reason it surprised me is because I live in a part of the country that saw hardly any action.? HH!

Hi there guys. I went back to the site that I found the button and I almost dropped my detector. It turns out that the house that was being built there is now almost ready for someone to move in, and they have already laid the sod right on top of the area where the button and coins were found . The only thing left to detect is about a 10 ft area outside of the yard. I might go back up there and try one last time....
