I went to grandparents farm today with my kayak ... When j left my house it was sunny and nice out. By the time I get to the farm which is only 30 minutes away it was raining and windy and the tide which should have been low was all the way in from all the wind and rain the past few days ..... I didn't even bother unloading the kayak but checked one spot where there's old foundation bricks falling out of the bank into the water .... A spot I check constantly and do t find much but today this sweet point was between 2 bricks .... Most productive 10 minute hunt ever . Some really pretty colors in it .... A shame it's missing just a tiny chip on the base but I was thrilled to find it I believe it's a Kirk corner notch.

Yea grandparents caretake a farm on sassafras river ..... I don't have access to many fields these days .... Mostly due to no-till but I have had some success on shore lines at low tide.... Unfortunately it's only good hunting for a few more weeks once the summer algae and beach grass comes in its almost impossible to see any rocks thru the sludge it creates

Its a beauty of a find even with the spider bite on the base. At least the tip is all there most of mine I find there is a nip some place on them not many perfect ones come my way.
