Hey folks. I scored permission on a huge 50 acre farm with a house and older cellar on it. The house was built in the late 1700s or very early 1800s. The cellar is what I believe to be the starter home from when the family first arrived in the 1770s. Only a small percentage of the site is mowed, so I'm waiting patiently for the owner to do the rest. I did manage to pluck out some decent finds though!

That's a sweet spot! I'm sure you will pull lots of goodies out of it!

Great finds, hope you find more! Keep us posted!

Fantastic! What a wonderful site, and what a terrific job you did pulling some gems from it!

What a spot! With finds like that I’d be taking my own mower over lol

Sweet finds, congrats! :icon_thumleft:

We just got permission on another 100 acre farm just down the road. Confirmed 1770s but the house burnt down several years ago. The only catch is, we have to wait until the owner returns next summer. :(

That looks like you've got one heck of a great site on your hands- clean that baby out- GL!!

You got yourself a great permission there, can’t wait to see what else
you find there.

Congrats on the great finds! Sounds like you are in for some great treasures ahead if this is just a sampling from a small area! I'd say it was a great success on your part!!! I'm looking forward to you finding some Spanish silver! Good luck!

Great stuff! Congrats on a new permission and productive hunt!

Check the obverse of that 1884 cent. If the N in Reginal has an overly large foot then it is a type 1 obverse and you are into some money there.

Sweet jumpin Jehosephat! How did I miss this post?

Congrats on what has already been an incredible permission. Hope it gives some more quality finds!
