I dug next to a early 1900s house but the property is mid 1800s farm and this was 4 inches deep any ideas on what it is and the age I dug close to Atlanta GA

Looks like a base to a candle holder or lamp.

Looks like a large vintage watering can rose, missing the perforated portion. They're often copper or brass and push-fit.

It def has some age on it & has patinated nicely .

I would say the item is 100-125+yrs old at least.
Just going on the looks of the casting/style.
