Awesome Day for an Arrowhead Newbie

Today two of my nephews and I were out braving the cold with our metal detectors and we were not having success so I suggested we go look for some artifacts in a local field. I have only found two broken arrowheads over the course of the last 10 years so I'm a total beginner. Well let's just say I'm hooked after today. I found both of these in the first hour. I don't live in a well known area for these but obviously this spot is pretty good for around here! I'm curious what your thoughts are about the smaller of the two. That's a somewhat uncommon base not??

That looks like Onondaga flint. I think the source is W NY. That’s far out of my area so I’m not positive.

Here's two that I found today...

The second one is a heavily resharpened Otter Creek point. Look at the top left point in this photo. That’s what your second side notch with broken tip is. The side notch you posted to start this thread would also classify as an Otter Creek point, not a Big Sandy. Note: the ancestry of Otter Creek would include the Early Archaic Big Sandy, but it’s a Northeastern form known as as Otter Creek…..
