Probably a long shot , but could this say S . L . CLEMENS (aka Mark Twain ) I just wanted to get some opinions - Thanks for looking .
I got it today ... from the free table ...at the dump .It has another inscription in it . I think it says it was bought in a book shop in Washington D.C. , Christmas 1932 . And then there is the original owners ex libris book plate - H . G. YARROW , M.D. Thanks AARC .

I don't think so. I don't know what the signature says, I just don't get H.C. Yarrow out of it. I don't Get S.L. Clemens either.
But assuming you're right, do you have any insight on why H.C. Yarrow, (any H.C. Yarrow) would sign a book written by Mark Twain?

This postcard was a bookmark in the book - Postage Paid - I think I might drop in a local mail box . I just don't have $4 in 1932 bills , but I do have a 1928 lead pencil , and I could wright - please send C.O.D.
Just a little fun for the U$P$ .![]()
