Bought this from a great vendor with an awesome collection. This is the only item she had no knowledge of so iI scooped it up. It's about the size of a dime. Obviously a charm, I'm just curious about its origin, and how old it is.

$15.00. I think you can get 25 of them for that price. Lesson learned the hard way. All of these busts will make my first good find even sweeter.

Yea it may be old but unfortunately they made millions of these catholic medals and they are hard to date. Some were silver.

Yea I do the same thing. Win some, lose some. However I try to keep my purchases under $4. I figure for a buck or 2, it cant hurt me and I have often found treasure at flea markets. Try not to buy from anything on display or in a collection, unless you absolutely must have it. Look deep in boxes for that item that nobody noticed.
