I saw Kevo's post about carriers in Louisville and it reminded me of something about AT systems.

Back in 4/07 Garda acquired AT which made AT the 2nd largest armored carrier in North America!

I am not sure who is the #1 largest carrier but I figure it's Brinks.

Anyway,With AT being so big it would make sense that their boxes would produce more silver than say a smaller company like Loomis Fargo etc.

Does anyone on this forum get boxes from a bank that they are CERTAIN is supplied by AT systems?

How do they produce?

Can you compare them to another KNOWN carrier who you receive boxes from? Thanks ;D.

P.S. I do know that AT is the service used by the bank that "sold" that dream bag to AWhitster. If he wasn't lucky enough to snag that bag when he did it would have made a LOT of box hunters happy for a while(assuming it was spread amongst several boxes) who get boxes from a bank supplied by AT.

By the way, right now there are 10 members and 30! "guests" viewing this CRH forum.A 3:1 ratio! Makes you wonder why they don't sign up and post sometime ???

You know if they are reading the stories here they ARE going to the banks and buying coins.Any doubt???

Well... here I am, and I have yet to get any change (or boxes) from a bank. I did ask once at my local branch if I could get rolls of halves and the gal looked at me like I had three heads. Maybe I ought to go to one of the larger branches, y'think?

I don't know what to look for, actually. If I read this forum enough, maybe some of it'll sink in. :D Meanwhile, I cross my fingers for you guys and keep on reading.

Don't let the ignorance of a teller stop you from this great hobby. If I did that I would have stopped hundreds of times. Remember most of them do not collect coins (thank goodness) and they are mostly pretty young. If something out of the ordinary is asked of them they shut down.

Just two days ago I did my usual "do you have any halves or big dollars?" and showed them one of each. He looked around and came up with 6-7 coins, the teller next to him had 2-3 coins so I bought all of them and then ASKED AGAIN but differently "did any one bring any in in rolls?????"

A light went off in his head and he went down into his own under the counter storage area and pulled out 30 rolls and the other teller had two rolls. You have to be persistant. I got about 5-6 silvers out of those that I would not have had.
