πŸ† HONORABLE MENTION AT PRO & Pinpointer Found in Spratt Park Woods Poughkeepsie - Call Me!

The good deed is done, it's Honorable Mention time.

Note to Admin - I used the Nominate Banner flag to vote HM on this. It would be nice to have a one click flag for voting on HM. It may be incorrect, but I always vote HM using the Banner Flag.

I guess we now know what's more compelling than an Alien abduction! LOL

Maybe he was a Clinton foundation whistleblower. Wouldn’t be the first one that disappeared. Or maybe he just dug up a hornets nest.

Honorable mention that's a good deed by a good man

You’re a good man, Terry. A good man indeed.

MYSTERY SOLVED!!!!:hello2:

I got a telephone call from a fellow this morning, who told me a story I won't soon forget. Tom, dropped his very pregnant wife off at her job at Vassar College, and scooted over to the park to get in a couple hours of detecting on his day off. He had just dug his first Standing Liberty when his telephone rang. His wife's office manager was calling to tell him she had gone into labor and was on her way to the hospital by ambulance. He freaked, and forgot his detector and pinpointer as he ran back to his car, and sped off to the hospital.

He and his wife are now first time parents (little girl named Shannon). At some point last night Tom remembered the machine and pinpointer. When he went back this morning he found my note on the tree and called. Long story short, he'll be picking up the machine in a couple days after the baby comes home. How's that for a great story!!:occasion14:
Good on you Terry!!!!!!

To be honest I was expecting a follow up with you saying you found him in an un-filled hole :tongue3: by detecting his belt buckle. But this is way more fun!! Good on you! :icon_thumright::hello2::hello2:

That has got to be on of the neatest honorable mentions I’ve had the pleasure to read. Terry yo da man!!

Wow I didn’t read all the replies before I posted. Great story! You did a good thing keeping his machine safe.

Great story. You put the honor into this honorable mention.

Well done, Terry!

But I can't help but notice that in his excitement, he left the machine and pointer, but remembered the Walking Liberty!
I guess he has his priorities .

I'm familiar with the area. Maybe I'll go over and see if he dropped that beauty running to his car.......

Great job Terry! You are the man :notworthy:

Terry, great job. It is nice to see genuine honor and integrity at work.
