At pro parts.

Are you talking about the rubber washers on the end of the lower shaft that the coil bolt goes through?

Just send an email to garrett and they'll probably send you a new one for free. I lost the screw things for the shaft and they sent me 2 sets of new ones and a garrett patch.

The rubber washers help to hold the coil steady so it doesn't wiggle back and forth without you pushing on it. Not completely necessary, but I wouldn't want to use it without them.

Without them it can put a strain on the ears of the coil when you tighten the bolt. Those rubber washers keep the coil stable and cushion the shock of bumping into things as well.

Ask mentioned, Contact Garrett, they will send you a couple for sure. I break parts on mine all the time, and they are more than happy to help me out

I lost them and have been hunting. my detector works fine?

Well your detector will work fine with out them …But it could be you will damage you coil by not using them…. Why not call Garrett and he will probably send you a set for free… 1-972-494-6151…...
