I have a question aout the pro, that I'm sure flayed o other detectors as well. Does a smaller coil pick up better? What are the differences in smaller coils and larger ones? Didn't mean to get off Topic, just curious because I may buy the AT Pro.

I have the stock coil and the Super Sniper coil. The Super Sniper is much easier to get around bushes and trees where I hunt mostly, but you sacrifice depth. This link to the Garrett website has some videos which will do a much better job of explaining what each coil is good for. It also has some videos which will help you out a lot on the different setting for the AT Pro. I would have never understood my detector otherwise. 2 to 3 weeks is all i heared today!!! Didnt matter which one!!!!GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I'm probably going to try and order one within the next 2 weeks. I'm going with the gun philosophy. I'd rather have it and not need instead of need it and not have it.
