I have an AT Pro, the land headphones, and the submersible ones. It looks like the only difference in the headphone connection is an O-ring, They seem to be the same exact connector.

My question; Does anyone know of a problem with putting on an o-ring on the land phones and then you could wade in the surf to your chest if you wanted ( careful not to get the headphones wet). After wearing both, the land phones are twice as comfortable and supply what the Pro is missing, a volume control!

Both headphone cable connectors are waterproof with o rings. The design is waterproof at the connection no matter what set you have.

Gleaner is right, but I would still use the waterproof ones to protect against wet headphones.

Thanks fellas!
