AT Pro Coil my checking's are.......... fine check this out.
OK ..Here we go i had a chance to check my AT Pro out for coil problems today even though it is 20 degrees F. out and a foot and a half of snow on the ground.................... First inside i took my coil loose from my AT Pro and did what was shown in the video buy synthnut ................ And it did the same as his did sounded off.......... So i took the coil loose from my Garrett 1500 and it did the same thing sounded off....... .............. SOOO i took the coil off my Minelab Sovereign...... And Guess what........ it sounded off also............ so i would say that is normal for a coil to do and as some one pointed out the coil is picking up the coil wire.................... Now i took it outside and scrubbed the ground bumped into small brush as i would do when hunting and no noise with my AT Pro.................. So as some one stated when they set there detector down to dig it would make sounds so i did that and my AT did not make a sound............................. So i say by waveing your coil around loose when hooked up to your detector with the detector on is a normal reaction for the detector to do...................And i find that my AT Pro as i see it is working just fine just great .....It is working as it should............
