Got it this morning at an old park...a near by storm sewer cover was stamped 1912...rings in at a steady 76...no markings on the inside...It was about 4 inches deep and it appears to have bakelite on the outside.....any ideas if it's cheap dimestore ring or something of value...it appears to be old....

Looks like a Mood Ring. Even if it isn't gold, you found it and that makes it The AT Pro's first ring.

Yup a ring is a ring (some are worth a lot more than others though:laughing7:)! Your one ahead of me though. My biggest weakness is,I like coins, and won't hardly dig any other signals.:dontknow:

I was using Pro Coin mode when I hit this, using the Standard 8.5" - 11" coil and going slow looking for a good solid signal when I found it....

Sandman.....I just tested it to see if it was Plastic or Bakelite and it is Plastic.....Darn it.....

Man....I just found MY first ring w my atp an hour ago...pretty sure its costume, but, a rings a ring...good find. HH
