I've been digging around the yard and finding many whatizits - these are just a few. The larger items are very heavy.

The first two show a handle of some sort and two silver colored round - i dont know whats - they were found on opposite sides of the house, so they may or may not even go together - but they look alike.

The next two show a chunk of metal I dug today - the close up is to show the letters "VER"

This next one is maybe a hinge? ok this one interests me - hope someone knows this one.

The last two show some large (and heavy) pieces - my best guess are wagon tongues and some type of farming blades.

I also dug what lloks like a tractor step? I'll add the pics if I can get them small enough to fit (file size that is)

Thanks everyone for looking - and I pray someone has some idea on some of these - thanks in advance

HH!

I think the 5th picture (also seen in pic. 3) is the gas pedal pivot for ??? The pedal would attach to the long arm, and the linkage or cable would have attached to the shorter arm.

I can’t believe I couldn’t think of Oliver – Thanks GTI2000. As a kid I drove an old Oliver tractor on my grandpa’s farm.

Gas pedal pivot? That seems to fit better than my ‘hinge theory’ Thanks nhbenz.

Edde – I thought those might have to do with the old phones – thanks

Montana Jim – thanks for the additional help.

The yard seems full of these – they’re all heavy – I guess now I have to decide whether I want to keep digging this stuff.

My guess is it’s worthless, but I think these things are interesting and just digging the past is a treat.

Thanks everyone
