Asking for help on Button ID

Can anyone give me some info on this button.
On the front it has, MILITAIRES * EQUIPMENTS .
The back is plain.
Size is about 7/8ths of a inch across.
A magnet will not pick it up, I think it might be brass.

Can still be bought new... I don't think it's very old.
