Artist name even Google doesn't know

I have come across a beautiful painting with the artist signature of "Ellaree covington" has anyone here heard of this artist and if so please share your knowledge with me please i have also so come across a hand drawn portrait sketch with the signature of an upside-down V up-right T any info we be helpful i will post pictures of them asap

What does the back of the pictures look like, are they on stretched canvas, is back covered in brown paper?

There are thousands of reprints of Robert Wood. Blowing up the picture I can not see any brush strokes, which there should be if original, but maybe it's just poor picture posted.

Since they appears to be no market (and almost no mention) for Ellaree or her artwork, IMO the work is what you paid for it or what you might get on Ebay.

There are thousands of reprints of Robert Wood. Blowing up the picture I can not see any brush strokes, which there should be if original, but maybe it's just poor picture posted.

Its on canvas and there was brown paper on the back and most of what i found on him was paintings worth $1500 to $23,000 but I cant find this exact one I mean some very similar and in the tens of thousands of dollars so if I could get some help finding this exact one and its value I will donate a percentage of the sales to the forum and start my membership as a token of my appreciation

After a much closer look at the REPRINT I have noticed that yes sir you are correct there is no brush strokes so it must be a reprint and I do apologize for wasting everyone's time when I should have taken that well needed closer look I will chalk this one on E.D. well at least that's what I'm putting the blame on LOL

Ok and how about Robert Wood

The E. Covington painting is very similar to Robert Cox's work. He was known for painting florals like this one and taught a lot of people from what I understand...a lot of people painted like him 'after or in the style of' that is.

Just spotted this post.

The Robert Wood print is from a painting titled 'Majestic Peaks' and, if you Google that title with his name, you'll see loads of them ranging from period to modern and often cropped to give a tighter and less panoramic view.

Period prints as lithographs typically have a value in the region $75-$100
